Moon Over Lower Falls - Greg Piazza

At 308 feet, Lower Falls is the largest waterfall in Yellowstone National Park. On this October morning, Greg Piazza wanted to capture the Moon providing light on the falls and rapids below. A short hike provided the vantage he was searching for and the minimal cloud cover made the conditions for capturing the Moon just right.

This photograph was awarded: 2021 Neutral Density Photography Awards Honorable Mention and juried selected for the 2022 International Juried Exhibition at the Center for Photographic Art in Carmel, CA, where it received the People’s Choice Award.

Limited edition prints are made with archival pigments on fine art photographic rag papers and will be signed and numbered.
