“The Ibex Dunes are located in a very remote part of Death Valley, almost two hours away from where the majority of the Park’s visitors are. Due to their location, I was the only person there. This allowed me the freedom to connect with dune, watch them change shape, and explore the dunes without the fear of someone being in my shot or ruining a composition with footprints. As the sun rose in the morning sky the intense contrasts helped to define the dunes shapes.” - Greg Piazza
