The delicate tumbleweed is a passenger of the wind. This particular one latched onto Greg Piazza's pant leg as he was composing a shot of a Death Valley mountain range in the afternoon sun. As he placed it back on the ground the contrast between its glow and the dark asphalt really pronounced its shape and inspired him to make this photograph before the traveler departed.
Limited edition prints are printed with archival pigments on fine art photographic rag papers and will be signed and numbered.
