Greg Piazza found a sense of connection to his journey in grief through watching the waves build until they reach the shore, then recede back to the ocean. With each wave there was change; the water gradually adding to and taking from the shoreline. Just like the shoreline, he was recognizable as a whole, but changed in infinite ways.
