Blue Moonrise - Greg Piazza

Landscape photography involves a lot of early morning departures to reach destinations before the sun rises or crowds arrive in stand in your shot. On this morning, Greg Piazza was loading my gear into the car and noticed this hillside trees silhouette from the Moon’s light. He setup his Gitzo tripod and dialing in the exposure on his Nikon D850 to keep the detail on the Moon’s surface. This is make a beautiful photograph in either large or small format.

Limited edition prints are printed with archival pigments on fine art photographic rag papers and will be signed and numbered.
